Lakers coach Phil Jackson expects center Andrew Bynum to return to practice within a week.
Jackson had said last week that he believed Bynum would return to practice at the end of this week, but the center only shot around on Saturday.
Bynum won't be able to practice this week because of the team's road trip which ends Friday in Minnesota.
