The Rockets plan to recall rookie Patrick Patterson from their NBA Development League affiliate on Sunday.
Patterson has averaged 17.3 points on 50 percent shooting and 9.3 rebounds in seven games with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers.
"We're excited about Pat's progression and development," Rockets vice president Gerrson Rosas, the Vipers general manager, said. "He's taking advantage of the opportunity. He's meeting the objectives and guidelines that we set for him."
