Draymond Green, the Big Ten Sixth Man of the Year in 2010, is making a big impact for Michigan State again this season.

His rebound and put back gave the Spartans a difficult win at Northwestern.

Green scored 10 points in the first six minutes of the game and had seven rebounds by halftime.

"I thought the way it started out this could be a monster night (for Green)," coach Tom Izzo said.

"No matter what they do, he's in the middle on defense," coach Bill Carmody said. "He's like a point-guard, point-forward, whatever. He's a really good basketball player, smart as hell."
