Dwight Howard is doing his part to put to rest rumors that he could leave the Magic in the near future.
Howard can become a free agent following the 2011-2012 season.
After a fan posted on Howard's Twitter page pleading for the center to remain in Orlando, Howard responded with the following:
“I never said I wanted to leave stop reading the rumors. It’s really stupid. And annoying to be honest. They tryna make something outta nothing I have another yr under my contract before I can sign," he wrote.
Howard's deal runs through the 2012-13 season, but he has an early termination option.
