After a loss to Florida Atlantic on Saturday, Florida International head coach Isiah Thomas was asked about his potential involvement as a consultant for the Knicks on trade talks for Carmelo Anthony.
"I don't feel it is my place to comment about any of this stuff," Thomas said. "I want the Knicks to do well and I definitely want Jim to do well."
Media reports have indicated that Thomas is informally consulting Knicks' owner James Dolan.
