There have been a lot of talk about Derrick Rose's MVP campaign and received an endorsement from Michael Jordan.

"MVP of the season," said Jordan. "He deserves it. He's playing that well, without a doubt."

Rose's Bulls defeated the Bobcats by a final of 101-84.

"It's great that he said that," said Rose. "It's an honor. I'm speechless. But I'm just trying to keep winning. The award will come if we keep winning. I'm just trying to play hard and aggressive and with an edge."

Rose has developed his leadership skills, but recognizes the differences between himself and Jordan.

"We're two different people," Rose said. "He's more talkative than I am. I'm starting to talk a little more. You can tell being around him he was always vocal with his teammates. Just hearing about some of the stuff he was saying and some of the stuff he did like shooting free throws with his eyes closed, I would never do that."
