Dwyane Wade has been awarded sole custody of his two sons following a length battle with his ex-wife, lawyers confirmed on Sunday.

Siohvaughn Wade’s lawyer told the Tribune that they were notified of the judge’s decision late Friday.

"Unfortunately I think the court got it wrong and it’s not in the best interest of these children and fails to recognize that Siohvaughn Wade has been a wonderful mother and a provider for these children, educationally, emotionally and physically,"  said her lawyer, Michael A. Haber.

The two sons will live with Wade in Florida, who has been outspoken about the importance of this issue.

In court, Dwyane Wade’s lawyer, James Pritikin, accused Siohvaughn Wade of a pattern of erratic behavior.

One night after the ruling in a game against Memphis on Saturday, Wade played his best overall game of the year statistically.
