Responding to a report from ESPN's Marc Stein that it would consider changes to the front office should the team move to Anaheim, Kings co-owners issued a statement supporting GM Geoff Petrie.
"There is absolutely no truth that we are considering anyone else for our general manager position," the statement said. "We consider Geofff Petrie to be the best in the business and look forward to continuing our resurgence with him at the helm."
