Emir Preldzic had 18 points and five rebounds in just 18 minutes, while Omer Asik had 12 points and eight rebounds.
Spain shot just 38.2% from the floor and were led in scoring by Marc Gaol's 12 points. Pau Gasol did not play due to a twisted ankle.
