Agent Steve Kauffman, who represents front office executives such as Donnie Walsh, John Hammond and Rod Higgins, along with coaches Mark Jackson and Monty Williams, is optimistic about the possibility of the NBA salvaging their season.
Kauffman wrote on Twitter that federal mediator George Cohen could be the reason why the NBA resolves their bargaining.
"Have never seen a mediator in the class of Cohen," wrote Kauffman. "Been in front of him, won and lost. Smart and fair as they come. 82 games still possible."
