Austin Rivers had a game-high 16 points on nine shots from the floor in Duke's narrow 77-76 win over Belmont. Rivers, who also had five turnovers in the game, started and played 38 minutes in his collegiate debut.
Seth Curry added 16 points, while Mason Plumlee added 13 points and 14 rebounds.
