Lakers power forward Josh McRoberts missed the Lakers' game Tuesday night against Houston because of his sprained left big toe, and he probably won't play Thursday in Portland either.
Troy Murphy, who was signed to be the fourth big man behind Andrew Bynum, Pau Gasol and McRoberts, will move into more minutes while McRoberts is trying to heal.
"It just hasn't gotten any better," said McRoberts, who hurt the toe on Dec. 26 in a game at Sacramento.
"Games come so quick," McRoberts said. "There's really not any time to rest."
