The Austin Toros have acquired Luther Head.
Head (6-3, 185) is a six-year NBA veteran who most recently played in 36 games for the Sacramento Kings in the 2010-11 season, averaging 5.6 points and two assists. Head will join the team when they return to Austin.
Tristan Thompson (North Texas) was waived as a result.
