The Houston Rockets today signed guard Courtney Fortson.
Fortson returns to the NBA following a Call-Up to the Los Angeles Clippers earlier this season. In four games with the Clippers, he averaged 4.3 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 11.2 minutes. He scored an NBA career high 13 points on Jan. 17 against the Utah Jazz.
In 29 games with the D-Fenders this season, Fortson averaged 17.0 points, 5.9 assists, 4.3 rebounds, 2.1 steals and 34.3 minutes. He is currently 14th in the NBA D-League in scoring, sixth in assists and second in steals.
