The Hornets defeated the Suns by a final score of 78-61 in Summer League play on Wednesday.
Brian Roberts led New Orleans with 16 points. Lance Thomas had 14 points and eight rebounds and Xavier Henry added 12 points and seven boards.
Phoenix was paced by 13 points and six rebounds from Markieff Morris. Marcus Landry had 11 points and five boards and Charles Garcia scored eight points on 3-for-6 shooting.
