The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a three-year, $21 million deal with Doc Rivers.

The Boston Celtics will receive an unprotected first round pick in 2015 in exchange for Rivers.

The Clippers and Celtics must receive approval fro the NBA, but that is not expected to be an issue.

Rivers informed the Clippers on Friday that he was no longer interested in pursuing the position.

The Clippers and Celtics previously discussed a trade involving Kevin Garnett for DeAndre Jordan as part of the Rivers' discussions.

Rivers had informed the Celtics on Friday that he would not leave coaching for broadcasting.
