Patrick Beverley was expected to miss 10 to 14 days when he was diagnosed with a partial tear of the midsection last Friday, but the Houston Rockets' guard returned in a 116-101 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
Beverley scored 12 points on five of nine shooting and grabbed four rebounds in 29 minutes of action.
Beverley said after the game that he is pain free.
