George Karl believes the Sacramento Kings need to trade DeMarcus Cousins this offseason.
Karl has been recruiting Vlade Divac and multiple players on the Kings' roster to unite with him in making the case to Vivek Ranadive that Cousins should be dealt.
Cousins has become aware of Karl's campaign since the end of the regular season and there is a growing belief the coach-player relationship is irreparable.
Ranadive has remained the biggest Kings' advocate for holding onto Cousins.
Cousins has held a loyalty to Michael Malone and Karl wasn't able to cultivate that type of relationship.
While Karl and members of the front office have informally discussed trade scenarios around the league, other teams haven't felt comfortable with the talks until Ranadive is on board.
