LeBron James doesn't plan on initiating free agent talks with the Cleveland Cavaliers until negotiations between Tristan Thompson and the team are resolved.
Thompson appeared close to an $80 million deal on the first day of free agency but those talks have since stalled.
Thompson is represented by Rich Paul, who is also the agent for LeBron James.
Thompson rejected a four-year, $52 million extension offer last offseason.
