The Golden State Warriors thoroughly defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, winning 132-98.

The Warriors were up 70-46 at halftime.

“We’ve got to play better basketball,” LeBron James said. “We’ve got a long way to go.

“Tonight was an example of how far we’ve got to go to get to a championship level.”

James admitted the Cavaliers have some growing to do.

“Mentally, we’ve got to be sharp,” James said. “We’ve got to be more sharp … they’ve got experience, and they’ve got high basketball IQ and they’ve got guys who are sharp mentally at all times. We’re not there yet. We’ve got some inexperienced guys that haven’t played enough meaningful basketball games where they can fall back on, you know.

“When it gets a little tough sometimes, it’s not like they can kind of fall back on previous experiences to try and help them get through it. We’re going to have a lot of bumps, and that’s OK. We’ll learn from it and get better from it. But the best teacher in life is experience, and it’s good to go through it.”
