The New York Knicks have held internal talks about trading for Derrick Rose.
The point guard position has been identified as the Knicks' greatest area of need this offseason.
The Chicago Bulls' desire to trade away Rose at this point is unclear. Rose will be a free agent after the 16-17 season.
New York doesn't have many trade assets outside of Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis.
