Kevin Durant had a phone conversation with Jerry West on Saturday.
West has been an executive with the Warriors since 2011.
Durant met with Bob Myers, Steve Kerr, Joe Lacob, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala on Friday.
Chris Broussard of ESPN reports West did not try to sell Durant on which team to choose but did explain why he believes the Warriors would be the ideal fit. West also shared his perspective as one of the NBA's all-time great players who kept falling short of winning a title.
West also told Durant that he wouldn't have to work as hard for his offense with the Warriors and that his overall game is overlooked with the Thunder.
