Timofey Mozgov injured his groin while playing for the Russian national team in an international friendly against Ukraine on Friday.

After undergoing an MRI on Saturday, Mozgov will miss Russia's next two games at its international tournament in Tbilisi, Georgia, and be re-evaluated sometime mid-next week. Mozgov played professionally in Russia for six years prior to the NBA and also helped his national team to bronze at the 2011 FIBA European Championship.

Mozgov signed with the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason after a season and a half with the Cavaliers.
