The Boston Celtics have discussed trade scenarios involving Marcus Smart, Jae Crowder and Avery Bradley as they look to clear the necessary cap space to sign Gordon Hayward.
Bradley and Smart will both be eligible for bigger contracts next offseason. Crowder is signed for three more seasons at $6.8 million, $7.3 million and $7.8 million.
Hayward and the Celtics agreed upon a four-year, $128 million contract on Tuesday.
