Magic Johnson blindsided Jeanie Buss with his appearance on First Take in which he aired his grievances with Rob Pelinka and Tim Harris.
Buss had questioned Johnson several times since his resignation as to whether any issues with Pelinka or anyone else with the Lakers led to his resignation.
Buss and Johnson spoke on the phone for hours and also went out to dinner in Beverly Hills on May 2nd. Johnson didn't divulge any details beyond what was said on April 9th.
Buss has been reluctant to talk publicly in recent weeks with the thought that only winning again will change hearts and minds.
