The Los Angeles Lakers hired Jason Kidd as an assistant coach on the staff of Frank Vogel this offseason with the NBA's richest contract for an assistant.
Kidd was fired by the Milwaukee Bucks as head coach during the 17-18 season.
Kidd was also a candidate for the head coaching job.
