The NBA is set to administer a daily point-of-care, rapid testing system for the upcoming season, sources told Shams Charania and Fred Katz of The Athletic.
The tests will deliver results within 30 minutes when a team is at home, and within 90 minutes during road games.
Should a test return invalid, players will take another test at least 30 minutes after the results of the initial test.
