The Miami Heat are signing guard Marcus Garrett to a Two-Way contract. Garrett played for Miami at Las Vegas Summer League, following going undrafted at the 2021 NBA Draft.

Garrett averaged just 7.7 points per game at Summer League, but showed up defensively. In his appearances, Garrett made life difficult for multiple players who were more-highly regarded with his on-ball defense.

As a senior at Kansas, Garrett averaged 11 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. He also improved his shot. Garrett finished the year at 46% overall and 35% from behind the arc.
