The Jazz didn't play together in the second half, but Phoenix did, reports Tim Buckley of the Deseret News:

"Teams that play together often win together.

And then there are teams like the Jazz, who after one nice victory ? like Wednesday's 24-pointer over Seattle ? start misbehaving so badly they have to be sent to separate corners.

Phoenix Suns guard Anfernee Hardaway, center, has the ball knocked away by Utah Jazz forward Karl Malone as Quincy Lewis defends during the first quarter of the Jazz's game with Phoenix Friday night. The Jazz came undone by poor shooting and turnovers in the second half while falling to the Suns for the second time in a week.

Or so it seems for Utah, which crumbled in the second half of a 98-76 loss to Phoenix on Friday night at America West Arena.

The loss not only marked the Jazz's second this week to the Suns, but it also meant 6-10 Utah still has not managed to string together two wins this season.

One of the things we're having a very difficult time doing is trying to play together," coach Jerry Sloan said after the Jazz yielded a 53-50 lead by shooting 5-of-31 from the field and committing 12 turnovers in the game's final 21 minutes."
