Kobe Bryant played 46 minutes and scored 48 points, despite spraining his shoulder in the first quarter, in the Lakers 117-99 victory over Toronto.

"It couldn't have been that bad, because he scored 48," teammate Lamar Odom said. "Kobe doesn't show signs of hurt. He won't let you know. And that's probably a weakness."

"There were certain things that I could not do with it, but I could still raise my arm up and still move it from side to side," said Bryant, who was 14-for-26 from the field and 16-for-18 on free throws. "Some of the movements I couldn't do -- like tying my shoe -- were not really important."
