Sarunas Jasikevicius? Or Damien Wilkins?

The Sonics pondered that question last summer and ultimately decided upon Wilkins.

Seattle pursued the 6-foot-4 Lithuanian guard last summer and hoped he would fill the void left vacant by Antonio Daniels, Jasikevicius' agent, Doug Neustadt, said.

He received offers from Indiana, Cleveland, Utah, Portland and Seattle.

Sonics coach Bob Weiss said the Sonics had not made up their minds about Jasikevicius before he accepted a three-year deal with Indiana.

Several Sonics scouts became enamored with the 29-year-old guard after he helped Maccabi Tel Aviv win its second straight Euroleague title last season.
