LeBron James missed his second straight game after suffering a second-degree sprain to his left index finger in the second quarter of Wednesday's loss at Detroit. He is listed as day to day and his status for Tuesday's game against New Jersey is unknown.

He has not spoken to reporters about the injury.

James sat out the second half of the Detroit game, as well as Friday's loss at Toronto. In fact, it was the second straight regular-season game in Boston he missed. On April 1, 2007, he sat out with right knee tendinitis and the Cavs lost, 98-96.
