The top five teams in the ESPN/USA Today men's college basketball poll - led by No. 1 North Carolina - remained unchanged this week.

But No. 6 Pittsburgh's 80-55 loss to Dayton had a dramatic effect on both teams. The Panthers fell to No. 13 in this week's voting of 31 coaches. The Flyers climbed into the poll at No. 23, thanks to their 11-1 start, including wins over Pittsburgh and Louisville.

Unbeatens Memphis (11-0), Kansas (13-0) and Washington State (12-0) are second, third and fourth in the rankings. UCLA (12-1) remains fifth. No. 6 Michigan State (12-1) and No. 7 Georgetown (9-1) each moved up a spot. Duke climbed two places to No. 8, followed by once-beatens Tennessee and Texas A&M.
