Insurance will pay for 80% of Knick guard Stephon Marbury's salary once he misses his 41st game of the season, the New York Daily News is reporting.

This will give New York a saving of roughly $850,000 over the final six games of the season, or approximately $180,000 per game.

According to the Daily News, if the Knicks do not keep Marbury around next season, they may make a play for his cousin, Minnesota guard Sebastian Telfair.
