According to the New York Daily News, former Bulls coach Scott Skiles is believed to be in talks with the Milwaukee Bucks, and a deal could be in place by as early as next week.

Skiles name has been linked to Donnie Walsh and the New York Knicks, although Walsh needs to work out what to do with Isiah Thomas before their is a vacancy.

According to the Daily News, Walsh admitted Wednesday that it is in the best interests of the club to resolve Thomas' future quickly because other teams - possibly Milwaukee, Chicago, Charlotte, Memphis and Atlanta - also will be in the market for a new head coach.

"That's right," Walsh said. "There's always built-in pressures in everything you do."
