Villanova coach Jay Wright doesn't want to see his name pop up in NBA rumors this offseason.

"I just hope it doesn't happen," Wright said Tuesday. "I really do. [I hope] no one contacts me and I can just coach at Villanova.

"That's what I want to do. That's really the truth. That's what I do right now."

Wright, who has been at Villanova for nine seasons, has seen his name pop up in rumors at both the college and professional level before.

"No one's contacted me," Wright insisted. "I'm happy about that. I love my job. Unless something changed here, I don't think I want to go anywhere.

"I really don't want to have to think about it, but I understand I might have to. Right now I can tell you I don't want to leave."
