The Hawks and Al Horford have been discussing a contract extension for several weeks.

According to NBA.com's David Aldridge, the odds of an agreement being reached are at "about 50-50."

Jamal Crawford is also seeking a contract extension from Atlanta.

If Horford is unable to reach a deal on an extension, he will become a restricted free agent in July of 2011.
