Andray Blatche issued an apology on Sunday after he and teammate JaVale McGee were each suspended for one game for conduct detrimental to the team.

The pair missed Sunday night's loss to the Spurs after they had a dispute outside of an area club last week.

"I'm very sorry for the incident," Blatche wrote in a text message to The Washington Post. "I had no intention of this ever happening. I apologize for my behavior, to my family, the whole Wizards organization, my fans, my teammates and coaches."

McGee also expressed regret on his Twitter account. "I wanna apologize to the fans and the [W]izards organization for the immature acts that I was involved in," he wrote.
