Chris Lofton will be staying with the Iowa Energy of the NBA Development League after a deal to sign with Besiktas of the Turkish Basketball League fell through at the last minute. 

“Deals overseas can often come and go very quickly,’’ said Jared Karnes, Lofton’s agent with Allegiant Athletics Agency. “We spent significant time working on a deal with Besiktas. In the end, we were simply unable to reach an agreement.
