Dwyane Wade has been wearing goggles to help alleviate migraines, but the pair he has worn in practice have been banned by the NBA for game use.

The NBA office checked Wade's goggles on Thursday and they determined that he would receive a competitive advantage by wearing them. The tint of the goggles were too dark where opponents would be unable to see his eyes.

Wade wore a pair of goggle in Miami's loss to the Knicks on Thursday that were similar to those worn by Amar'e Stoudemire.
