The Hornets will sign Jerel McNeal to a 10-day contract, beginning with Wednesday's game against Dallas.

McNeal will add backcourt depth as Chris Paul attempts to return from a concussion he suffered on Sunday.

McNeal spent the preseason with the Rockets.
