JaMychal Green will return next season for his senior year at Alabama. He made the announcement Wednesday after a 79-64 victory over Miami in the NIT quarterfinals. The news never made it out of the Crimson Tide's locker room.

"I'm not ready to leave," Green said. "I'm still having fun. I'm not ready to leave my teammates. I still feel I have a lot to work on. I'm still developing."

He recognizes which skills need attention.

"My face-up game. Polish my jump shot. Work on my ballhandling skills, low-post moves," he said.

"I'm just going to come back and bust my butt this summer. I'll make a sacrifice, tune everything out and just focus on getting better."

Green is averaging 22.2 points and 11 rebounds per 40 minutes pace adjusted. He is projected as a second round pick by several draft outlets.
