Lamar Odom has told the media that he expects to start at small forward in place of the suspended Ron Artest for the Lakers in Game 3 of their Western Conference Semifinals game against the Mavericks.

The Lakers trail the series 0-2 after losing the first two games to Dallas on their homecourt.

Odom hasn't played meaningful minutes at small forward for the Lakers for several years.
