Travis defeated Houston Yates on Monday by a final score of 77-69.

While Travis is ranked No. 7 in the preseason Class 5A Texas state coaches poll, Yates was ranked No. 1 in 4A.

"In the grand scheme of things it really doesn't mean much," Andrew Harrison said. "This is a great confidence builder. Yates is one of the best teams in the country."

Aaron Harrison had 21 points, six rebounds, four steals and two assists, while brother Andrew had 20 points, seven rebounds, two steals and two assists.

Shooting guard Aaron is ranked as the seventh best player in the class of 2013, while point guard Andrew is ranked fourth.
