LaMarcus Aldridge underwent DNA and genetic testing to determine what foods best suit his body and from that, Aldridge learned he should increase the amount of proteins he consumes and avoid orange juice and dairy products.

As a result, Aldridge -- who appeared noticeably bulkier in the chest Monday -- has added five pounds of muscle and dropped four percent of his body fat. He says he expects to enter the season weighing 251 pounds.

Aldridge also worked on his game, especially improving his ball-handling (particularly his left-handed dribbling) and adding to his offensive options around the elbow.

"I did everything from the elbow," Aldridge said. "I think my game is going to be overall better from both elbows and the top of the key. I've really focused on going off the dribble, being able to pull up shots, things like that."
