Cal coach Mike Montgomery made several interesting comments about San Diego State's program, which features LSU transfer Garrett Green and Washington State transfer Xavier Thames.

"They're really good," said Montgomery. "They've kind of found a niche in that they get kickbacks. They almost recruit to get guys that are bounce-backs."
