The deal sending Tyson Chandler to the Knicks is now official.  

Chandler was signed-and-traded to New York along with the rights to Ahmad Nivins and Giorgos Printezis which were held by the Mavericks, while the Knicks sent Ronny Turiaf and cash to the Wizards and Andy Rautins to Dallas. The Wizards also receive a 2012 second-round pick from the Mavericks and a 2013 second-round pick from the Knicks. The Wizards sent a protected second-round pick to Dallas.

To open up room for Chandler's contract, the Knicks also claimed amnesty on the final year of Chauncey Billups' contract.
