Tyson Chandler believes the Knicks now have the best frontcourt in the league, as he will be flanked by Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire.

“Right now, if it was all done with paper, I would say we were the best,” said Chandler, although he hastened to add, “We got a lot of work to do.”

Chandler will bring a defensive intensity and length that will complement the gifted offensive games of Anthony and Stoudemire.

“We got to build to become a great defensive team,” Chandler said. “It takes work.”
