The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced that the team has acquired forward Trey Gilder from the Canton Charge in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2012 NBA Development League Draft. To make room for him on the roster the team waived guard Ryan Anderson (Nebraska). The active roster now stands at 10 players.

Gilder holds NBA Development League career averages of 13.9 points and 5.6 rebounds in 95 games with the Colorado 14ers (50), Maine Red Claws (35) and Albuquerque Thunderbirds (10). He was named All-NBA D-League Honorable Mention after averaging 14.2 points and 5.6 rebounds in 45 games with Maine and Albuquerque in 2009-10.
