DeMar DeRozan was the worst three-point shooter in the league last season, connecting on just 5-of-52 attempts from beyond the arc.

DeRozan hit 5-of-8 threes Wednesday night against the Cavaliers, putting him at 10-for-16 on the season.

“He has really improved his three-point shooting,” Raptors coach Dwane Casey said following the win against Cleveland. “Now he opens up the floor for everybody else because now you have to honor him with spacing. He doesn’t necessarily have to have the ball, but they have to honor him and that opens up the roll. It opens up the weak side for 3-point shooting. Just his improvement on his three-point shooting is going to help us out a lot offensively.”
